I’m sure this headline resonates with many reading this post
In fact on one of the closed Facebook Groups that I below to I started a thread just on this topic and many people agreed with the headline, but you know there are loads of ways to overcome this & you need to, you really do
If you’ve chosen a topic that you’re into, it’s not hard to think of topics to write about. If you’re not a great writer or you don’t write quickly, it’s alright. Web content is written in a conversational way, so just write like you talk. If you’re worried about grammar and stuff, have someone else look at it.
Don’t Hire – To Begin With ……
I wouldn’t recommend hiring a writer at first. It’s your hobby, so do the writing yourself. You’ll enjoy it and if you need to, you can hire a proof-reader to just look it over and make a few changes, but for me I use my wife that works very well because as you’ll find another pair of eyes is essential to pick up those easy to miss mistakes. You don’t want to spend money on your blog until its making money. Someday, when it’s pulling in cash for you, you can put some of that money into outsourcing to a writer.
How Often ? that’s The Question
Some people recommend writing blog posts daily to get content on the site. I don’t think this is a great idea unless you’re a writer. The reason is that it takes a lot of time and you’ve got other things to do.
The first thing you should do is decide how often you’re going to post. This is going to be your permanent posting schedule, so make it something you can do over the long term. Every other day is alright for some people; for others, 2 times a week might be more their speed. Decide on a schedule first off and stick with it from the beginning.
For Me ……
I blog regularly and when I’m in the mood I writes several then come over here upload and then drip feed for when I’m either not in the mood or too busy – Ideally I want new content going up most days on my blog but also on social media – for social I use the free versions of Buffer and Hootsuite – honestly guys it makes life so much easier. Try it you’ll see.
