The 5 Steps You MUST Adopt Now to Drive Traffic to Your Website

Hi here’s 5  key methods you must be using on a very regular basis in your internet marketing activity to ensure worthwhile traffic generation to your website. Now again when I say worthwhile what  I mean is ‘targeted’

Now I make no apology about always banging on about this but it stands to reason you ‘must’ get visitors to your site that have an interest, a need for the information and solutions you’re offering to their problems – otherwise you’re simply wasting your time, so think about – target, target and more targeting. Ok let’s get into the exact Top 5 Steps we use all the time to get traffic to our sites…

1.   Viral Marketing

Viral marketing means spreading your company’s message through word of mouth, the oldest type of marketing ever.  It’s just a matter of producing something interesting, fun or entertaining, and putting it out there for people to enjoy.  If they like it, they’ll pass it on to their friends and it will create a buzz.  Your name is attached to it somewhere so that people can find out more by visiting your site. Press releases can achieve this and videos on You Tube are a great way of self-promotion. Also article marketing is viral marketing as well, which I cover below.

2.   Search Engine Optimize Your Site Content

Find the best keywords for your niche that are making money and use them all over your site.  You can write your own content, but make sure those keywords are there; they’ll be the way people find it.  Don’t over stuff though; use them naturally and make sure your content provides value & unique.

3.      Article Marketing

Write high quality articles and submit them to article directories.  People will read these and recognize you as an expert in your field.  Then, they’ll click on the link in your resource box and visit your site to see what else you have to offer. Plus other website owners wanting content will use your articles gaining more exposure for you.

4.      Participate In Forums And On line Communities

Find out where your target market hangs out and chats, and go there to establish credibility.  Make posts that offer value and information to everybody there.  This will build trust and help you make a good reputation for yourself.  They’ll come to you when they need something, and this will translate into traffic.

5.   Build A List And Offer Newsletters

Finally, get visitors to sign up for your list and send them useful information in the form of newsletters, special reports, How To Tips.  This will create a fan base that will buy your products later.  You’ll also keep them constantly coming back for more hopefully and this is exactly what you want & need.

So there you have it, simple and straightforward methods to adopt (if you haven’t already) to generate traffic, but a word of warning its all about ‘rinse & repeat’. Do it, do it again and keep doing it – its the consistency that will pay off over time, I’ll be covering more about traffic generation soon, until then ……
