Blimey this headline says it all – its all about traffic but then when they get there they click off almost immediately – WHY? WHY?

Okay I’ll tell you because your site is confused and far too busy. You’ve got loads of calls to action – and your visitor runs away. Don’t worry I’ve been there, it hurts , you put all that effort in and no one seems to take any notice – its an absolute killer

Keep It Clean

By far the best site layouts are clean.  The design is simple and uncluttered.  When people look at the site, their eyes are drawn to whichever features are most important (usually the text).  They’re not distracted by ads all over the place, tables piled everywhere, flashy images or other unimportant design features.  In addition to the overall design, the colours and text should also be simple and pleasing to the eye.

You should also strip from your site anything that’s not completely relevant.  Everything should have a purpose and do something to enhance user experience.

Look at this site whilst you’re here – its clean, not too many colours, posts aren’t too long and the main things are the image and headline – those 2 things capture the imagination – SIMPLE
