Fiverr – A Cheap Outsourcing Paradise For Internet Marketers

Hi there today I just want to illustrate to you how easy and potentially cheap outsourcing can be and why you’d be mad to not be using outsourcing – its by far and away the most straight forward method of growing your business whilst most importantly controlling your costs.

Here’s How We’ll Use Fiverr

Let me tell you for me  our little game plan is to significantly grow our online business using outsourcing. The real opportunity is to grow a list of tried 7 trusted outsourcers so you have a #bank’ if you like to call upon. For us we want to be able to operate our business remotely, i.e. when were are away on holiday abroad, a long weekend away in the UK or visiting our daughter – that’s what we call freedom.

Outsourcing gives that extra help when you need it, or when you’re fed up doing the boring bits. Anyway enough of our plans, check out the rest of this post and add this resource to your ‘bank’ – you’d be mad not to ….

Get It Done For $5 – yes its True

Fiverr is a freelance site where people will do jobs for you for $5.  Yes, you read that right: $5.  This is an excellent site for cheap outsourcing but be warned – you have to know how to use it effectively if you want to get quality work done.

On Fiverr, jobs are called ‘gigs.’  They have lots of different categories for gigs, and if you browse you’ll see that people are offering all kinds of crazy services.  One guy cracks eggs over his head and makes a video, somebody else screams whatever phrase you give them, and it gets even weirder than that.

But there are also lots of people offering services you can use.  For example, there are writers, programmers, designers and people who’ll handle mundane SEO tasks for you.  And even though these are ‘gigs,’ you can find people to work with long-term.

How To Order Gigs

When you find a gig you want, there’s an ‘order now’ button.  Then it lets you enter a message with the details of what you want done.  You can also email them beforehand if you’d like to clarify.  Turnaround times are usually pretty fast, and afterwards you have a chance to give them feedback.

The money is also simple.  You pay first and it’s held in escrow; they get the money when the job is completed.  You can also set it up so that it takes the money directly from your Paypal account, so you don’t even need to open a Fiverr account.

What To Outsource

You should think carefully about what you can and can’t outsource.  There are lots of mundane SEO tasks that people can easily do for you for $5.  This includes Internet research, social media tasks, and RSS submissions.  Fiverr can get your content done for you.  You can outsource video creation, blog posts, writing and graphic creation.  You can also hire somebody on Fiverr to create accounts for you, give you Facebook likes, give you recommendations and reviews, and more.

One thing you probably shouldn’t use Fiverr for is back linking.  There are lots of people offering to get you back links, but this is difficult to check up on.  For example, if they say they’ll get you links from ‘quality’ sites, how do you know that’s what you’re really getting?  Whatever tasks you outsource, make sure there’s a way you can check their work.

Tips On Getting It Done With Fiverr

When you search on Fiverr for a service, you can set it so that it gives you the most popular and highest ranking sites first.  This is a good way to filter out people who have bad feedback or no feedback at all.  But no matter how popular a provider is, be sure to read their feedback first.  Make sure that it’s real and they didn’t pay somebody else to leave generic comments.

Before you even start browsing for providers, make sure you know exactly what you want.  Get the details of the project laid out perfectly beforehand so that you can explain to them clearly what you need done.  If you’re not organized, they’re not going to be able to provide what you want.

You should also take advantage of the messaging options and ask questions before the job starts.  Make sure that they understand completely what needs to be done and what you expect from them.

If you find a good seller who does good work, stick with them.  You can get repeat jobs from them and develop a great working relationship.  There are lots of quality providers on Fiverr.

And remember that it’s only $5.  Sometimes the service you get on Fiverr isn’t the best, but when you only pay a few dollars, it’s not a huge disappointment if they don’t deliver. Sometimes for a more complex job you’ll need to pay more but that’s down to you to accept or refuse – it’s your choice.

Give it a try, you’ll be surprised

Cheers

Tony Phelps
