and lets get to the fun bit where you can start to see some real progress after all the legwork.
So lets just have a quick recap:
1} You’ve developed some ideas
2} Got a plan ready on what you are doing
3} Undertaken research both on & offline
4} Identified product choices suitable for your niche
5} Discovered the main product creation methods
6} Developed an entry-level product (or had it done for you)
7} Created your own website in the form of a blog.
So now you’re ready to launch yourself on the internet, but hold on there lets get a plan in place. Ask yourself 1 simple question:
What Do I Want to achieve now?
Now this might sound a bit obvious if not daft but just hear me out. Obviously you want to make money, that means selling your product – ok with me so far, good.
Right now think it through – what you need to do is to attract the right people to your website who’ll be interested in your product.
But let me stop you right there
– unfortunately the reality is that for many of us internet users, we very rarely buy from a website on 1st visit – for many its only after several visits that the ‘trust’ bond has been built to get a sale.
So the bottom line is this – you need to get the right visitors and develop a relationship with them, and that’s where my action plan comes in:
Your Blog:
Tip 1 – post to your blog regularly – preferably 3 times a week
Tip 2 – always ensure your content is relevant, helpful and informative
Tip 3 – do offer free Top Tips/PDF reports to your browsers
Tip 4 – do capture email addresses
Tip 5 – do start an auto responder series to your list
Tip 6 – do communicate with your list frequently
All of the above aims to position you as an ‘expert’, a ‘reliable source’ in your niche
Do Promote yourself:
Visit forums, make comments etc
Article marketing – write articles and distribute them on article directories
For many of us on the internet article marketing is probably the most valuable investment of time we ever make in promoting ourselves – I have articles I wrote 5 years ago that have been viewed and downloaded –used on other websites literally thousands of times.
Top Tip
– If you decide to do article marketing submit your articles first to http://www.ezinearticles.com they are probably the most established and used by many internet marketers.
