Back To Basics In Blogging – Engage With Your Readers!

Hi

How’s your blog writing going? well I trust, its a bit of work yes but here’s the reality and what you MUST be doing

Top Tip:

It’s absolutely vital that not only do you decide but also commit to the workload. because there will always be pressures on your time, you get ill, away on holiday etc etc but your blog will take on a life of its own and it needs feeding. For my part  I am committed to 3 times a week and I’ve  achieved that, hard work at times but its working.

Here’s a Quick Reality Check

Your blog won’t be much good until it’s got at least 10 posts, and it won’t be raking in cash until there’s more like 50.  You’re going to use your blog to establish authority, and a blog with 14 posts isn’t considered ‘authority.’

Start writing on related topics that interest you and be patient.  Make sure that all of your content is search engine optimized.  A good way to get ideas is to hang around forums in your niche and see what people are talking about.

With your content, it’s really important to be unique and write with your own voice.  This is where your natural enthusiasm for the topic comes into play.  Be real with your readers and you’ll attract a following.

In later posts I’ll continue with how my blog is progressing

till then

cheers

Tony
