The 2 Key Rules To Follow For On-Page SEO

Hi

When you’re looking at your site from an “on Page” SEO perspective please remember these 2 KEY points

Fundamental Rule No. 1 – Google Ranks Pages (Not Websites)

This is another important idea to understand.  Google really doesn’t list websites; they list pages from the website.  What’s the difference?  A website is really a collection of pages hence the skeleton reference.  Google doesn’t always send people to the front page of your website.  Instead, they may send them to one of the pages further inside your site.  That’s why you need to be looking at the keywords for each page.

Fundamental Rule No.2 – Use Keywords Strategically

Your website may be about “grooming poodles,” but it won’t help you to use the keyword once on every page.  Instead, you have to pick out a few pages and make sure the keyword shows up between 1% and 4% of the time.  However, don’t overdo the keywords on a page.  If you do it too much, they’ll simply drop you from the search results.  You should list keywords frequently enough that Google knows the main topic of the page.  Then, your On-Page SEO will be complete.

Now You Know You Need To ……

So to recap, you should focus on getting links leading to your site and filling your site with content that uses your keywords.  These are simple on-page strategies that will get you noticed by Google. Hope these little reminders help a bit

Cheers
