I want to talk about this, boring I know but vital
Time management:
Ultimately you need to dedicate ‘time’ to your business & by that I mean regularly. Don’t try and cram it – doing 20 hours once every 3 weeks will not do it.
To be effective it’s all about doing bite sized chunks of marketing on your business often and consistently.
3 new blog posts a week
Write & distribute 2 new articles a week
Add 1 new message to your auto responder series
Post to at least 3 forums within your niche a week
Regular marketing becomes habit forming & therefore regular activity will result in regular results.
Invest in your Business by Investing in yourself
Everybody needs a helping hand and certainly in such a fast moving industry as internet marketing where new techniques and technologies are constantly changing its vital to learn the basics early on and then make sure you’re not left behind in the crowd.
As I’ve said before I actually bought into a number of packages, even paid for one to one mentoring, but I tell you what we found, and I guess you will too if your not careful, you get something that’s way beyond you- you get frustrated – you give up – but here’s a thing you need a program that’s down to earth, functional especially for beginners and that comes with a manual & simple to understand DVDs. But hey the bottom line is getting stuck in – you must take action. How many times have you met someone who is always ‘just about to get started’, ‘waiting till after the holidays’, or ‘once I’ve finished the research I’ll’ – and you know they’ll never do it- because the comfort of never trying is easier to handle than the possibility of failure – how mad is that.
Just get stuck in and make it work
