Can You “Visualise” Your Dreams & Future ?

Hello and welcome back

Goal setting exercises are important for all your business activities, on and off line, especially I’ve found it  when I hit the buffers, and I have to tell you that’s been several times it’s not always that easy to look ahead and see the light in the tunnel getting a bit closer, hey sometimes I’ve lost the tunnel let alone the light

I just want to wrap up that whole ‘getting your mind-set right & keeping it there’ idea in today’s post So it’s going to be fairly short.

No some of you may laugh, but I kid you not this is really strong powerful stuff, so yea have a snigger but then let’s move on.

 Storyboards – what are they?

Ok many of you may have heard of them, some use story books instead but basically the idea is this you set out your goals, aspirations and desires by sticking photos and drawings etc. that represent them onto a board (or book) this all represents the story or journey you are planning for yourself, family etc.

So you may want a bigger house with a large garden in the country, a new Jaguar car, and exotic holidays to India and the Far East, etc. I’m sure you get my drift. It simple just rip pics out of magazines off the net etc. Just build a pictorial scrapbook of the future you want and are working for & locate it somewhere you can see it every day especially when you’re working through the small hours, knackered and about to give up & go to bed  – but come on you need to finish that last article etc. – trust me it works.

Strange but True

Let me tell you a story .

A friend sent me a copy of a DVD called ‘The Secret’. Now The Secret is a truly inspirational film with some real heavyweight inspirational thinkers, writers and successful Internet marketers on it – it really blows your mind away.

Anyway I digress, in the DVD one-speaker recounts how he uses storyboards to records his aspirations and dreams (it’s a way of letting your mind run totally wild with your dreams – extremely exhilarating I can tell you). One of the pictures was of a house he dreamed of owning.

Anyway he and his family had moved house several times, and his storyboards had been packed up in removal boxes. He was just settling into his new home and his little boy, about 6, wandered in and pulled one of his old story boards from the box – to this guy’s absolute amazement the house he’d dreamed about and aspired to & whose photo was on the storyboard – he suddenly realised he’d just moved in to!!! Now how amazing is that!!!

The Power of Visualisation

So the moral is doing ever give up on your dreams and aspirations. And by keeping them visually “in the front of your mind” daily – your chances of winning increase massively

Here’s a tip for you go here and check out The Secret – it’s a truly amazing film and now has many other products in the self-help and awareness arena – it’s the business. http://www.thesecret.tv/

Anyway that’s it for today, hope you’ve enjoyed the above information, do me a favour and really go & play around with a storyboard (or book if you wish) idea, it works.

Cheers

Tony
