Joint Venture Giveaways Are List Building On Steroids

Hello now in this post I’m covering Joint Venture giveaways, just another marketing tool to add to your arsenal to grow your reputation online, build loyalty to your list and generally build your overall online presence’s what are they & how do I get them?  – read on ……..

Joint venture giveaways are free events where a bunch of Internet marketers provide free gifts to customers.  If they want the gift, they sign up for a list.  What you do is put all of the different marketers’ resources together to maximize the benefits for all.

How It Works

JV giveaways are events that are hosted by one marketer.  Other marketers can join and you all share your lists.  They often have rules of eligibility.  For example, they might say you need 1,000 subscribers in your list in order to join.  But no matter how few or many subscribers you have, it’s a great opportunity to get more.

Each marketer supplies the giveaway with some free prize.  This can be any type of freebie that you use to get people on your list like a free product or free membership to your site.  All of the list members get an invitation to attend the event and you spend the time leading up to it promoting the event to your list.

Where To Find JV Giveaways

If you search for JV giveaways on Google, you’ll turn up assorted results.  Most of them will be one-time events listed on individual marketers’ websites.  They’ll tell you how to join and what rules apply.  Another good place to look is on Internet marketing forums.

The important thing is for all of the giveaways in the event to be related somehow.  For example, if you’re in a sports niche, you probably don’t want to join an event that’s all health and beauty products.  This is why it’s important to choose your giveaways carefully, otherwise it could be a waste of time.

There are also sites that specialize in listing JV giveaway events.  One of these is JV Giveaways (www.newjvgiveaways.com/).  It has updated listings and tools to help you grow your list.

How To Make A JV Giveaway Work

First of all, just like any list building strategy, offer your prospects something good that they can use.  If you offer something that’s shoddy quality thinking that it’s free so why bother making it good, you’re missing the point.  You should offer something really valuable that stands out from other freebies at the event (remember: everybody will be offering something).

This is a chance for you to get new subscribers, but it’s also a chance to build your reputation.  Your reputation rests heavily on the goods you offer.  The whole idea is to build a relationship with your list, so don’t go into it with an attitude of only thinking about what you’re getting out of it.

One of the biggest novice mistakes with JV giveaways is that sometimes people don’t promote them enough because they think everybody else will.  You don’t stand to gain from your subscribers joining other people’s lists, but you’ve got to work hard to promote it.  Whether or not a JV giveaway goes well doesn’t depend on how many subscribers each individual participant gets.  Rather, it’s all about the huge number of people who enjoyed the event.  If there were lots of participants, you can expect more lucrative JV giveaway events coming.
