8 Fiverr Alternatives to Help You Sell Gigs (Jobs To You & Me)!

By

By now, everybody knows about Fiverr.com. This is a site where you can offer any services you want for five dollars. The jobs are called ‘gigs,’ and there are some pretty oddball gigs out there. But anybody who does anything online can use the site to make money and build a client list.

Whenever there’s a good idea online, everybody jumps on it and makes their own version. Because of Fiverr’s success there are tons and tons of clone sites. What’s cool about these clone sites is that each one puts its own unique twist on the Fiverr concept. Here are the most popular ones.

Gigbucks – www.gigbucks.com

Gigbucks is the same basic idea except that you can offer gigs from five to fifty dollars. As you might imagine, the gigs on the lower end of the scale get more buyers.

Tenbux – www.tenbux.com

This is probably a no-brainer, but Tenbux lets you sell gigs for five to ten dollars instead of just five. You get a little more flexibility there.

Zeerk – www.zeerk.com

Zeerk gives you even more flexibility. You can sell gigs for multiples of five up to twenty-five, and then multiples of twenty-five over that. As you know if you’ve used Fiverr, they take one of those five dollars out of every gig. With Zeerk, you pay a lower commission for jobs over five bucks.

Tenyt – www.tenyt.com

On Tenyt, all jobs are ten dollars, and they’re not gigs, but ‘twigs.’ One of the cool things about this site is that all members are automatically signed up to Tenyt’s affiliate program. You also get a commission for every new person you refer to the site.

Fittytown – www.fittytown.com

Say it with the right funny accent and you’ll realize the ‘fitty’ means fifty. This site offers gigs for forty and fifty dollars. A couple of downsides though – they charge a 15% commission and withdrawals take ten days. Still, it’s good for largish jobs.

Gig Profits – gigprofits.stefanzeulner.com

Probably the most flexible, Gig Profits lets you offer gigs all the way from five dollars to two hundred bucks. With this flexibility, it’s almost a freelance site like Elance.com.

Goferr (aka ‘twentyfiverr’) – www.goferr.com

As the nickname suggests, this site only lets you offer gigs for twenty-five dollars.

Fourer – www.fourer.com

You can probably guess – Fourer is just like Fiverr but gigs are four bucks. I know what you’re probably thinking: ‘Why would I want to go any lower?’ Well, a good reason is that the low price makes this site extremely popular. And just like Fiverr, if you’re creative you can make the gigs pay.

Now, before you go and sign up to all of these sites, there are some things to keep in mind. Fiverr is the undisputed king of the heap. You’re not likely to make a ton more money with any of these sites individually. But if you have a service to offer, offering it on Fiverr clones gets it in front of more people.

I recommend signing up for as many clone sites as possible and just seeing where you get work. You might end up doing well on some of the smaller sites where there’s less competition and more flexibility. You can find good clients anywhere.

To your success

I had a look through most of these and some suggestions on those fiverr likes are poor. Aweful looking sites and not porofessional at all. http://www.bluegig.com looks quite nice as does a few others like gigbux but I do prefer the look of bluegig.com. I heard that bluegig are intorducing two payment methods to compete as I know from reading reviews some people want the use of paypal and I read somewhere they are introducing this, Great news for most people. I’ts nice to have choice but some this choice is very poor. I’d stick to the recomended ones or ones that look professional.

What I don’t get is how most of these sites get away without displaying their business registration number? It’s a legal requirement in the UK not sure about the US.
